  so i have started down the path of trying to understand evolution, and to get the linear lies that the jws planted in my head out of it.

  i bought an audiobook called "evolution: what the fossils say and why it matters" by donald prothero.

  i heard it recommended on an atheist podcast that i listened to.

  What do I do ?

  hey guys, this is my first time posting on here but lets get started.. so i'm a 17 year old boy who currently attends meetings at a congregation in indianapolis.

  i live with my grandparents, on my father's side, because my mother died in 2010. i been attending meetings since i was 10. my mother got into the religion but then got disfellowshiped.

  my dad is on and off, he currently just got reinstated.

  My suggestion is heavily biased. I served in the Navy for 21 years but that length of time is not a necessity to accruing benefits that will be very helpful to you at age 21 or 22.

  Should you opt to join one of the military services for a four year enlistment your "place to live" will be taken care of. Qualifying for technical schooling in electronics or computers or numerous other fields will enable you to acquire excellent training to prepare you for steady employment following your enlistment when you "return to the World."

  As a military member you'll receive a decent salary and will be entitled to 30 days leave (vacation) each year.

  As you put on stripes you'll earn more and will be placed into positions of greater responsibility and leadership.

  After your four years you'll come out with education and experience; you'll probably have traveled to exotic areas of the U.S., Europe or Asia.

  You'll be ready to take on anything as you proceed with your life. You'll also have the G.I. Bill which will enable college education without great financial expense.
  

  My escape route from the witnesses was the Navy. I had to wait until I was 18 1/2 yrs. of age since I wasn't able to get my Father's permission to enlist. I have never regretted that life changing experience.

  You might also decide to make the military a career. Military retirement is very good.

  How do you know this?

  How do you know this? Is there actually a good reason for thinking this is the case? Or is this just a mere assertion?

  Until one has reached the point in their studies where it becomes painfully obvious that there can be no other answer, one will defend their beliefs with passion.

  Hitting that dratted wall is humiliating and humbling. You will know it when you too smack into it.
  

  That is where the light turns on. Where all doubt is vaporized.

  It must be stated that Evolutionists pursue these mysteries because they too want to know about our Creators. Of course they will deny their true motivation; insisting that there is no Creator. There is no need for a Creator or Creators.

  Until they hit the wall.

  That is where Evolutionists become Creationists.

  How do you know it's a possibility? We can't solve one mystery with another mystery Old Navy. And we can't explain one unknown by postulating the existence of another unknown.

  We simply cannot explain things which we do not yet comprehend. There are certain aspects of the incredibly complex phenomenon of Life which we may never be able to comprehend by reliance upon the Scientific Method since it has limitations.

  Once those "secrets" which we are unable to discover on our own are explained to us by our Creators, then we will know.

  Evolution itself has many mysteries which defy explanation or comprehension. Evolution presumes that all life traces back to a "Common Ancestor."

  There is no question that Man is intelligent and is able to reason and is very curious about many things in The Creation. But, our intelligence is very limited; our reasoning is very limited; our ability to research difficult questions is very limited.

  Our Creators, on the other hand, have unlimited intelligence and ability. For them all things are possible. When one hits the Evolution Wall one realizes that therein lies the answer to the many unanswerable questions. We are not yet ready to comprehend. We have no way to handle that kind of Truth. But, one day we shall.

  We were made to wonder about these things. To seek answers.

  Since at the Judicial Interrogation anything that is said will be used against the "accused" perhaps the only reasonable course is to exercise one's Right to Remain Silent. Has there ever been a case of the "accused" of being "read their rights" before the interrogation actually begins?

  Your Brother is a cool guy PE. I believe he'll make the transition and adjustment with great success.

  When it is the only possibility that remains. That is what The Wall will tell you.

  Hmmm. Sounds like you may have an "alter" which can be accessed under certain conditions. Some people develop those spontaneously for unknown reasons while others require severe trauma to create the alter.

  Yours seems to be a skilled writer. Is it you? Yes, it is. At some point in time it should integrate with your consciousness, but perhaps not...

  It's a relatively rare condition.
